The Antiquarium

Antique Print & Map Gallery

Description:

The Antiquarium continues a family tradition by selling original rare maps, and antique prints from our historic Houston Texas location. Independent retailers like us have been visiting our store since the 1930s, which is located in the River Oaks Shopping Center. The Antiquarium was founded in 1990 and seeks to preserve the historic charm of the area while remaining accessible and welcoming to collectors, enthusiasts, and designers at every collecting stage.

As one of the longest running, and last remaining, general antique rare map and print sellers left in the world, our shop contains tens of thousands of original images. Our goal is to offer a less intimidating, and more inviting backdrop to browse our varied and extensive collection of rare maps and prints. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is always available to help. There is no question too simple or too difficult, so don’t hesitate to ask.
